Festival Invitation

We are delighted to invite folk and choral groups, orchestras, majorette teams, and both children’s and adult ensembles to participate in the 4th International Folk Dance and Music Festival “Paralia Summer Fest”, taking place from 12–16 June 2026 in the stunning seaside town of Paralia, Greece.


Festival Highlights

This international gathering celebrates creativity, music, and dance — bringing together diverse ensembles including choirs, folklore and modern dance groups, majorette teams, brass bands, and orchestras.

Participants will:

  • Share their unique cultural traditions

  • Build lifelong friendships

  • Enjoy the beautiful seaside of Paralia, with long sandy beaches and lively summer evenings


About Paralia

Paralia is a charming seaside village in the Pieria region of Greece, part of the municipality of Katerini. Known for its crystal-clear waters and relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere, Paralia offers the perfect balance of culture, leisure, and exploration.


Festival Program

Day 1 – Arrival & Welcome

  • 14:00 – Arrival in Paralia, hotel check-in, and meeting with festival representatives

  • 18:00–20:00 – Dinner at the hotel

  • 21:00 – Free time to explore or relax

Day 2 – Cultural Activities & Performances

  • 08:00–10:00 – Breakfast

  • 11:00–16:00 – Optional boat excursion on the blue waters of Thermaikos Gulf

  • 17:00–18:00 – Dinner at the hotel

  • 19:00 – Ensemble parade and Official Festival Evening

Day 3 – Excursions & Performances

  • 08:00–10:00 – Breakfast

  • 10:00–15:00 – Optional excursion to Meteora (210 km OW) or free time at the beach

  • 17:00–18:00 – Dinner at the hotel

  • 19:30 – Optional second Festival Evening

Day 4 – Thessaloniki & Closing Ceremony

  • 08:00–10:00 – Breakfast

  • 10:00 – Optional sightseeing in Thessaloniki (White Tower, Aristotelous Square) or free time

  • 19:00–20:00 – Dinner at the hotel

  • 21:00 – Closing Ceremony: certificates and gifts, exchange of presents among leaders, and farewell party

Day 5 – Departure

  • 08:00–10:00 – Breakfast

  • 12:00 – Departure


Participation Details

Eligible participants:

  • Folk dance groups

  • Orchestras and brass bands

  • Majorette and modern dance teams

  • Choirs and vocal ensembles

Performances:

  • Non-competitive and open to traditional and modern styles

  • Duration: 10–15 minutes per group

  • Music via USB or live orchestra

  • Each group must bring its national flag


Participation Fee

Duration Price per person Includes
3 nights (Half Board) 130 € 3 nights + 2 meals/day
4 nights (Half Board) 165 € 4 nights + 2 meals/day

Included:

  • Accommodation in hotels or apartments (Paralia or Olympic Beach)

  • 3–4 bed rooms with private bathrooms

  • 2 double rooms for leaders and drivers

Additional costs:

  • Extra double room: +10 €/person/day

  • Single room: +20 €/day

  • Tourist tax: 2 €/person/day

  • Some hotels do not provide towels

  • Check-in after 14:00 / Check-out before 09:00

  • 1 free place for every 25 participants


General Rules

  1. Groups arrange their own transportation to and from Paralia.

  2. Each group must submit:

    • Group CV

    • 2–3 photos

    • Participant list (by 10 May 2026)

  3. After registration, official invitation letters will be sent.


Payment Terms

  • 10% Guarantee Fee – deducted from the final payment

  • 20% Booking Fee – due upon confirmation

  • Remaining balance – before the festival or upon arrival (per agreement)

By registering, participants confirm acceptance of all festival conditions.
